Christmas light installation isn't just hanging strands on a roofline — it's designing a display that fits your specific home, installing it cleanly with commercial-grade lights, keeping it running through the season, and taking it all down in January. We've been doing this since 2020 across Macomb and Oakland County, and we've turned holiday lighting into a service you don't have to think about. You get a free quote, we design something custom, we show up and install, and your house lights up for the season.
The math gets clearer every year. A weekend on a tall ladder in 30-degree weather. Strands you bought three years ago that don't reach where they need to. A storm that takes half of it down by mid-December. Then January rolls around and it all has to come back down — usually on the coldest day of the year. Most of our customers tried it themselves once or twice before calling us, and almost all of them sign back up the next year. Professional installation means commercial-grade lights that actually shine, a layout designed for your home instead of a one-size-fits-all string job, no roof or gutter damage, and a phone number to call if anything goes wrong mid-season. You get the holiday display you actually wanted — and you get your weekends back.

Holiday lighting isn't one-size-fits-all. The right display depends on your home's architecture, your landscaping, and the look you're going for. Here are the main types of installs we do — most homes get a custom mix of two or three.
The classic — clean lines of C9 LEDs running along the front and side rooflines, peaks, gables, and dormers. Roofline lighting is what gives your home that crisp outlined-against-the-night-sky look from the curb. Warm white is the most popular choice for a refined, traditional feel; classic multi-color is the go-to for a more festive, family-style display.
Mini lights wrapped tightly around the trunk and major branches of trees in your front yard. Tree wraps work especially well on mature trees that anchor the property — they pull the eye in, add depth to the display, and turn an otherwise dark front yard into part of the show. Wrapping a 30-foot tree by hand takes hours; we have the tools and technique to do it in a fraction of the time.
Mini lights or net lights draped across shrubs, hedges, and landscape beds. Shrub coverage fills in the lower portion of your display so the lighting reads as a complete package from the road, not just a glowing roofline floating above a dark yard.
Pre-lit wreaths on doors and windows, garlands wrapped around columns and railings, oversized bows on fences and gates. These are the finishing touches that take a display from "lights are up" to "this house looks intentional." We handle the install, the takedown, and the storage.
The full package — roofline, peaks, tree wraps, shrub coverage, wreaths, garlands, and pathway accents pulled together into one coordinated design. Full property displays are what we do for the homes that want to be the brightest house on the block. We design the layout so every element complements the others instead of fighting for attention.
C9 LEDs are the larger, bulb-style lights you see on rooflines — bright, warm, and designed to read clearly from the street. Mini lights are the smaller strands used for tree wrapping, shrub coverage, and tighter spaces. Most professional displays use both: C9s for structure and outline, minis for detail and fill. We help you pick the right mix during the design phase.
We've been doing this since 2020 across Macomb and Oakland County, and most of our customers come back every year — because we make it that easy.

1. Free Quote
Call or text us at (586) 960-5361 with your address. We'll either pull up your home online or come out to take a look in person. Most quotes turn around same-day or next-day, and there's no obligation.
2. Custom Design
Once you're in, we design a layout for your specific home — rooflines, peaks, tree wraps, landscape accents, wreaths, garlands, whatever works. You pick the color story (warm white, classic multi-color, custom mix) and we plan the install around your home's architecture.
3. Professional Installation
We show up with everything — commercial-grade lights, clips, timers, extension cords. Most residential installs are done in a single day. We don't use staples or nails, so there's no damage to your roof, gutters, or trim.
4. In-Season Maintenance
If a strand goes out, a clip pops loose after a windstorm, or anything else happens during the season, we come back out at no extra charge. Maintenance is included — that's the whole point of all-inclusive service.
5. Takedown & Storage
Most takedowns happen in early-to-mid January, weather permitting. We schedule it with you, pull everything down clean, pack it up, and store it for you until next season. Your garage stays clear, and the lights stay yours from year to year.
The earlier the better. We start installs in October and our calendar fills up fast — by mid-November we're often fully booked. If you want lights up before Thanksgiving, book by early October. If you're calling in late November, we'll do our best to fit you in but it's not guaranteed.
No — we provide everything. Commercial-grade C9s and minis, clips, timers, extension cords, all of it. The lights stay yours from year to year, and we store them for you between seasons. You don't buy or store anything.
No. We use professional all-purpose clips designed to attach to gutters, shingles, and trim without staples, nails, or anything that punctures the surface. The clips come off cleanly at takedown — no marks, no holes, no residue.
We come back and fix it at no extra charge. In-season maintenance is included with every install. If a bulb burns out, a connection fails, or a windstorm pulls something down, just call or text us and we'll get it handled.
Commercial-grade C9 LEDs for rooflines and main runs, mini lights for tree wrapping and shrub coverage. These are professional-tier strands — they're brighter, more durable, and last way longer than what you'd buy at a big-box store. They're rated for outdoor use through Michigan winters and they look noticeably sharper from the curb.
Christmas-style strand lights aren't really designed for year-round use — UV from sun and weather will degrade them faster. If you want lighting that stays up year-round, ask us about Permanent Holiday Lights instead. Those are built for it and you can program them for every holiday and everyday accent lighting.
